As members of the local business community as well as Idaho residents, Ultimate Property Management has simply been astonished at the wealth of artistic talent residing here.  Ultimate Property Management has been so impressed and wanted to do our small part to showcase this talent to out-of-state investors, future residents, and potential visitors.

Last fall UPM launched its Local Arts Program.  During Phase I UPM invited local photographers to exhibit their images of Idaho on our website.  UPM was pleased to host the work of four photographers, some absolutely gorgeous photographs.  In Phase II, which just went live yesterday, UPM has expanded the repertoire to include paintings, drawings, collages, sculpture, glass and metal work, and murals.  And UPM will continue to expand the program over time, find new ways to showcase the art.

The Institute of Outdoor Drama are inviting new theatre companies to join and become members of the Institute of Outdoor Drama (IOD). The IOD is the only organization in the U.S. providing national leadership by fostering artistic and managerial excellence and expansion of the outdoor drama movement. It was established in 1963 as a public service agency of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and serves as a national clearinghouse for 100 theatres across the country.
The IOD is not a dues paying membership organization.  To be affiliated with the IOD, an organization must be a continual producing company (not just a one time occurrence) that produces at least one full length theatrical production outdoors in one of the following categories: Historical Drama, Shakespeare Festival, Religious Drama, Musical Theatre.
Each year the IOD promotes the outdoor drama movement with print and broadcast media throughout the country.  The cornerstone of our promotional material is the Directory of Outdoor Drama in America on our website www.unc.edu/depts/outdoor.
Please forward the attached information to any theatre in your state producing outdoor drama.

We are especially interested in new or established voices of the American West.  In addition to poems in English, we are seeking poems in Native American languages or in Spanish.

What Are We Looking For?  We are most interested in poems that offer original insights into historical or contemporary life in the American West.  We are open to all poems of merit, regardless of style, though narrative poems accessible to a broad readership are most likely to catch our attention.

Please share this call for submissions with your fellow poets!
