Whenever I sit down in my studio to work on a face, I see my clay as a blank
slate on which to express the many emotions all of us feel and express every
day. No two fingerprints are alike and, wonderfully, no two faces are alike
either! I will never run out of faces to play with and to distort and yet each
still will embrace the beauty of being human.
