Jim BuddeBiography Born in 1958 in Red Bud, Illinois, a small farming community forty miles away from St. Louis. BA in Art, Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, 1981; MA in Art, 1984 and MFA in Art, 1987, California State University, Fullerton. Ceramics teacher at Glenn A. Wilson High School in Hacienda Heights, California from 1988 to 1994, and taught part-time at community and private colleges in Southern California. Professor of Art at Boise State University,1994 - present. Honors and awards including 2006 Boise State UniversityÕs College of Arts and Sciences award for distinguished creative activity in the arts and humanities, 2005 Visual Arts Fellowship Grant, Idaho Commission on the Arts.
