The Idaho Falls Arts Council operates the Willard Arts Center that houses three art galleries, three classrooms, a conference room and the 970 seat Colonial Theater. The Carr Gallery is reserved for touring art exhibitions and the other two galleries focus on local artists and children.

GRAPHICSIdaho State University, Transition & Mind's Eye Galleries

These two galleries are located inIdaho State University's Pond Student Union. The Transition gallery exhibits a wide range of mediums. The Minds Eye gallery hosts smaller more intimate shows, usually composed of photographs and drawings.

Each show features an opening reception from 7-9 pm; admission is free.

The Center for Arts & History enhances the visibility of Lewis-Clark State College through quality programming in performing, visual, and literary arts. Housed in its current location since 1991, the Center Gallery is the second largest exhibit gallery in the state of Idaho. The gallery rotates exhibits of Visual Art works, showcasing the talents of regional, national and international artists. In addition to Fine Arts exhibitions the Upper Gallery also houses three permanent historic exhibits.

Boulder Mountain Clayworks is a fully equipped ceramic studio located in Ketchum, Idaho. The Studio has been in operation for 15 years, the last five as a 301 © (3) art education corporation. It has 12 electric wheels, slab roller, two large electric kilns and one 16 cubic inch gas kiln. Raku firings occur about every two months and it offers classes for adults and children. GRAPHICSTwin Falls Arts Council - Full Moon Gallery

A cooperative art gallery sponsored by the Magic Valley Arts Council, it features work of local artists in a variety of mediums. The Full Moon Gallery is located adjacent to the Arts Council in the Main Street Plaza.

The Arts Council hosts an Artist's Reception and Gallery Opening Event the first Friday of every other month beginning in Febuary. Meet the artists and see their new artwork along with light hors d'oeuvres and wine.

The Gallery at the Linen Building is a second-floor, loft-style art gallery located inside the Linen Building Event Center. With natural light, warm sunsets and bird's-eye views of Downtown Boise and the Linen District, The Gallery offers artists and art lovers a fresh, unique urban space in which to display and view art.

 

Since opening in August 2009, The Gallery at the Linen Building has featured several exhibits showcasing the work of some of Idaho's top professional artists, as well as student and faculty artists from Boise State University.
