Part of the ICA's strategic five-year plan www.arts.idaho.gov/about/plan.aspx is to expand technical assistance and professional development services for artists, arts organizations, art educators and communities. Additionally, ICA seeks to support the unique contribution to arts education made by artists and arts organizations. One way of doing this is to provide the Teaching Artists Café for ICA Artists in Residence. This resource provides information on:
  1. Requirements for ICA Teaching Artists
  2. APPLY to the Directory of Teaching Artists
  3. Professional Development
Teaching artists can apply for professional development through QuickFund$ to either enhance their artistic development or their teaching skills. Take care to apply under the appropriate category.

Apply under the Individual Artist category for activities that will affect or enhance your artistic development.

Apply under the Arts Education category for activities that will provide training in arts teaching, arts integration, or related arts education topics.
  4. Tools for the Classroom
