Dance, Choreography
Ability to work with all ages, needs, and abilities.

As a choreographer and teacher I am always fascinated with the possibilities in
movement and the individual uniqueness of the moving body. The potential of any
age is very powerful. My goal is to create an atmosphere that leads to
expression of that potential and the feeling of confidence and joy. Each
student brings their own energy to a class and that is what motivates my work.
As we honor our own creative and physical selves we are able to honor each
other. My residencies are structured to develop the creative process through
dance. Classes can be related to classroom activities or curriculum.

Professional Contemporaty Dance Company
Ability to work with students K-12.
Idaho Dance Theatre's Educational Program 'Leaps and Bounds' is dedicated to
bringing the love of dance to the students of Idaho.

IDT can work with schools to enrich the lives of students with a dance program
that not only teaches about dance, but also provides encouragement in personal
expression and teamwork. IDT emphasizes the importance of physical fitness,
personal expression and body language. In addition, residencies can inform
students of different styles of artistic dance including jazz, modern, tap and
classical ballet. Students will be involved throughout the program- from making
props to being included in developing choreography and to performing movements
or dances along with the dancers.

Mexican Folk Dancer
Ability to work with all age groups.
The majority of my life has been and continues to be a practitioner of
Traditional Mexican Dance.

As a dancer, my desire is to enrich peoples lives by the participation of
students in workshops, developing new teachers and performing at various venues
around the country. Sharing the rhythm, movements, and costumes and the
traditions of every Mexican song I perform with young and old alike brings joy
and satisfaction to all.

Performance and Instruction of West African Drum, Dance & Song
Ability to work with all ages, needs and abilities.
As an artist in the field of West African percussion, one of my primary goals is
to share this with others. Drumming is not a solo act. The magic blossoms only
when an ensemble combines their knowledge of the history and tradition with a
desire to make music not unlike a symphony.

It is my distinct pleasure to share these experiences with students. Residencies
have been designed to teach the rhythms, songs and dances of West Africa while
fostering creativity by designing a performance. Each experience is different
based on the energy brought to class by the students. Programs are structured
to accommodate a variety of class sizes.
